Real Estate Advisor (R)
I was born and raised in Hawaii and live in and love Kailua, O’ahu! I attended Roosevelt High School and the University of Hawaii. I enjoyed being a member of the Ke Anuenue Sorority while at the U of H and reflect on the fun times there with all of my sorority sisters!
My husband, George Joy, Jr. and I have three wonderful children named Vini, Jim and Debbie. I participated in many activities and events while our children attended Le Jardin d’ Enfants and The Kamehameha Schools. I was asked to be on the initial Board of Trustees for Le Jardin when we implemented the school’s name change to Le Jardin Academy. I headed the Parent and Teacher Association at The Kamehameha Schools and coordinated the major fund raising activities for the school's college scholarship fund. I also became the first woman Vice President of the Kailua National Little League. We are now blessed with seven grandchildren!
I entered the real estate business in 1971 and became a REALTOR soon thereafter. I was the Kailua Branch Manager for Luke and Luke Realty until Properties Unlimited, Inc. was formed. At Properties Unlimited, I participated in the managerial area of agent training and organizing and handling the staff meetings. While at Properties Unlimited, I was part of the team of agents who marketed and sold numerous new project developments. Some of the major projects were, Olaloa, in Mililani Mauka, West Loch Estates and Trovare in Ewa Beach, Iwalani, the Department of Hawaiian Homes project, Kanehili in Kapolei, Alii Plantation and Queen’s Villa in Honolulu, The Bluffs in Kailua and many more. My experiences include areas such as Waimanalo leasehold land and Molokai properties as well!
I strive to be the professional Realtor whom people trust! My favorite motto is, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. That IS the golden rule that I practice in life and always convey to my family. I am so proud to be associated with a Company like Primary Properties, who shares that same philosophy.
